My first 40 pounds in London

It was my second day working in a take away shop and i am getting hang of doing that! It's easy! Just make sure that you take the correct orders and give the correct take away to the right customers!

I enjoy working there as the boss is nice and i love greeting people with my sweet, lovely and warm smile, taking their orders and serving them! It feels so good if the customers reciprocate your greeting! Hmm...i think i should work in public relations as i have an angelic face and good PR skills. Hehe!

There were not many customers tonight as the weather was cold and i think they could rather stay home than exposing yourself to such an unbearable weather huh?

It's time to knock off!!! I earned 40 pounds today!!! Soooooooo happy! The boss even commended my performance tonight! He even cooked a stir fried vermicelli for me as a supper! Thanks boss!

40 pounds are peanuts to you, but it meant something to Gu Gu Fei Yong!

I may not earn as much as you at the moment, but my efforts and diligence are definitely as much as yours!

Interview vs Take away

An early start.

I went to Waterloo to catch the train to Ewell. It was drizzling! I hate rainy day when i need to leave my cosy little room to withstand the coldness in this unbearable weather!! This is London!!

The train was delayed. By the time i reached Ewell, it was 10 minutes later than the scheduled time. Carrying a fragile umbrella, looking at the map, i started my little adventure in Ewell. Ah... it's daunting as i needed to walk around with my newly bought stiletto. :( I asked for direction from an old man, he lent me his hand by showing me the correct direction. Yes..i headed to the wrong direction and i needed to walk all the way back to the train station. Oh my god!

The surroundings are pleasant, peaceful and tranquil BUT i was really in a hurry!!!

After 15 minutes walk, i found the road, but was confused by the address which led me to the other way of the road! Yes..i was late and wanted to get a cab but i found none of them!! So crossed!! I lost my passion and energy during the journey and i felt like going home!! When could this be over?

After 30 minutes late, i reached the place finally! Thank God! After recovering from the strenuous journey, i showed my confidence, professionalism and competence to the interviewers! The interview lasted for 1 hour and i was content with my performance! Hopefully, i can get the offer!

I felt so relieved after the interview although my feet sore and my stiletto is worn! I ever wanted to give up when i was lost, but my persistence and unyielding spirit kept me going. I won't quit without trying and if i ever want to quit, i want to quit in Fei Yong's way.

Keep on fighting, keep on battling, i will achieve what i want as i am unbeatable Fei Yong!!!

My first day in take away shop

I was late for the first day but the boss, who is from Hong Kong, wasn't upset about that! Thanks God!

I was kind of clumsy for the first half an hour but started to get the hang of taking orders from customers! It's easy! The boss is very patient and he taught me bit by bit whenever he can find time. I am so lucky!

It's not a grand job, but it's my first job! I truely enjoy it as i get to experience different types of works.

'Hello, how are you? What can i get for you?' :)

Welcome to Reigate, Surrey

I went to Reigate, Surrey to meet an agent discussing my interview on Thursday.

It's about 45 minutes by train from London Bridge train station.
Well...i forgot to bring the train map and was hoping that i could get off the train at the right station.

The scenery along the journey is misty and you could really feel tbe beautifulness of rainy day.

I was supposed to reach Reigate after 45 mins. However, the train didn't seem to stop at Reigate Station and i knew something was amiss! I got off at Gatwick Airport St and checked with the information counter realising that i should have got off and transfer at Redhill train station to Reigate! Well...

After being late for the meeting for an hour, i finally met with the agent. A nice and friendly agent i would say. He briefed me with the interview tomorrow and provided me with the map and train timetable. It's thoughtful! The most i like is the little booklet, a guidance to interview, which i find it handy.

I spent 17.60 pounds for the train tickets and it's freakingly expensive. I hope the trip down to Surrey is well worth, otherwise my effort and money would have been wasted!!

Well..let see how Fei Yong performs for the interview tomorrow! I am always confident about myself as i definitely can do well!! Buck up!

ps: I will start working as a part-timer in a take away shop tomorrow! Wow...i look forward to it!

Thank you and i love you..

I ever cried, i ever wept and i ever smiled. I ever felt the world were falling apart and i ever lost the strength to carry on.

Thank you for being with me, tolerating my unreasonableness, showering and nourishing me with your unconditional love. Without you, i will be perished in impenetrable darkness.

I am not sure how to return your love and kindness but i will make you proud of me.

Mum, dad and sister, i love you.

ps:Grandmum i love you and miss you too...

ps: I bumped into a guy in Sainsbury at Finchley Rd. Who is he? We actually met at Willesden Green. We went to his house before when we were looking for an accommodation. Actually, i met him few times before near our area but just didn't get to say hi! I was so surprised that he came to say hi. Apparently, he remembered me! I was so happy!! Why? Because he is good looking!!! Wahaha...Another piece of evidence to show Fei Yong's prettyness and gorgeousness! :)

Sincerity and punctuality

I went to Primark to exchange my boots and high heel shoes as it is too small. There were quite a number of customers lining up and i waited for almost 20 minutes.

I got to exchange my boots successfully but not the high heel shoes. I wanted to get the refund for the shoes as it does not look that good on my feet but to no avail. As the shoes looked worn. Stupid Fei Yong, i should have cleaned the shoes before exchanging it! No worries, i'll still get my refund eventually as i am a smart girl. Hehe...I also got 2 pounds refunded for the boots as the boots were reduced to 6 pounds, which was 2 pounds lesser than the original price that i paid, ie 8 pounds. I was so happy!

On the tube, i received a text from a net friend asking if i wanna meet up. I replied to his text but there was no reply from him ever since then. I felt very pissed and doubt his sincerity in befriending me!! If you truely treat me as your friend, you should have replied my text when you receive it! I think he just flirted with me with the text! Damn it!!! This is definitely not the first time he received my text without replying it! He is so irritating! No worries!!! As i am not gonna see him again! I am such a pretty and lovely gal, there are tons of guys who wants to befriend me if i want to!! Who cares about such a guy like him who has no sense of punctuality and sincerity!!!

To all the male readers who are reading this, don't behave like my net friend and this really turns gals off!

Cold and rainy Sunday...

I met a friend of Tania's friend. He previously worked for KPMG before and perhaps he would help me with my job hunting in London.

It's such a pleasure meeting him as he provided me a lot of information regarding the market demand of big 4 and it seems that it's not that tough to get an offer from them. It really boosts my confidence! However, i need to restructure my CV to uk format.

Right, i will amend my cv tonight!

I went to ask for a part time job in a take-away shop today near my place and that was bold of me! Well...when you need to survive you will try any mean just to keep you battling! I will start working next Thursday! Hehe

ps: I still can't stop meself from coughing!!! So irritating!

It's rainy day again...

We went to Oxford Circus this afternoon as CJ needed to buy something!

Oxford street is still as busy as it is used to be and the crowd today was huge! The main road was closed until evening for shoppers and you can walk on the road as much as you can. Oh yeahhhhhhh!!! The atmosphere of the street was awesome as nice music was played and you can really feel the Chiristmas is approaching!

Besides, there were some street performance on the street and i was able to take some of the pictures.

I didn't manage to go shopping with MK and CJ as i was meeting a friend at Baker St.

I met with Oliver this afternoon, an English from London. We were supposed to have a drink in a cafe in Regent Park but the location of the cafe couldn't be found! However, the scenery of the lake side of Regent Park took my breath away! I never discovered this lake side although i have been here twice! It's a shame that i didn't capture few pictures but i will definitely do it next time.

Oliver and i went to a cafe near Baker St. However, we only could stay there for 15 minutes as it was closed soon. Well, we went to Green Park then. It was raining cats and dogs on the way and i was a bit damp! It was damn cold and my hands were absolutely frozen! Oh...i guess my condition would get worst by tomorrow! Nontheless, i know where Mayfair is, which the famous restaurants are located and etc. Thanks Oliver!

We finally went to Starbuck near Green Park for our second cups of drink! Sitting down in a cafe ,having cup of hot drink, chatting with a friend and exchanging views in such a cold weather is truely pleasant!

I went back home at 6:30pm and had muesli and bread for my dinner!

A rainy but warm night!

ps: The weather forecast of BBC was not accurate and none of us expected the rains to come! Sucks!!! Oh, my throat are so sore and it gets worst, i am dead meat now!
