The beginning of London Life

After all the bloody preparation, we finally arrived Heathow airport at 6:30am. There were many people lining up for the clearance and we waited for at least 30 mins. We were very nervous as not sure if the custom officer would be nasty. Surprisingly, the male officer was nice and without much 'interrogation' we were directed to Health Control department for X-Ray checking. This is all the impression towards londoners begun. The female officers were very rude and unfriendly. Especially the second bitch who brought us to the changing room. She was very sarcastics and wondering why we didn't bring our own x-ray...WE REALLY DIDN'T KNOW BITCH, it was not stated on the website.....~!@#$ and we were told by others that we can do free x-ray there...stupid bitch!!! Although the experience was a bit upset, but we were deemed lucky as the computer system was down afterwards and a lot of people were lining up for that. We were pretty blessed...i guess..Finally, we checked out successfully and headed to the tube station.

Our luggages

After buying the tickets, we finally boarded the first ever tube in London, it is Picadilly line. The tube is similar to MRT or LRT but the base is in underground. Take a closer look of the interior of the tube.

After 40 mins of journey, we arrived at the Court Hotel, the hostel that we are gonna stay for three days in London.

The Court Hotel

The nearest tube station of our hostel is Earl's Court and it is within 2 minutes walking distance and is very convenient. The hostel is on 2nd floor and when we saw the staircase...we nearly fainted! As we need to carry all of luggages! Oh my god! It's an extremely challenging and streneous tasks!!! Thanks CJ...i think you did almost all the jobs! A salute to you!!

After checking in, we finally entered the room...oh my god...the room is dammmn small..after putting our luggages, we could barely walked. Look at the video and you'll know that Gu Gu Fei Yong was not exaggerated!

After dragging all of our luggage into the room, we got around the area near our hostel.

At night, we met MK's cousin at Leicester Square, a place famous with opera, film and theatre. The night view of Leicester Square is spectacular! Well...i will attach the pictures later as i realize i didn't take some pictures for the lovely spot.

We had dinner in a Hong Kong restaurant. ie旺记together with MK's cousin. I ordered singapore fried mee foon. Oh my god the dish tasted funny...and it sucks!!!! However, the portion of the noodle was big and i couldn't finish it! MK's cousin bought us the dinner and it was deemed the most sumptuous meal we ever had for consecutive few weeks.

After the dinner, MK's cousin showed us around Picadilly Circus and Regent Street. I was amazed by the magnificient buildings as it is so gorgeous.

After walking around for a while, we went back to our cramped room and ended the first day in London.
