Each year on 14th February, flowers , gift and candy are exchanged between loved ones. It's a day to commemorate St Valentine who has been killed for attempting to help Christians escape harsh Roman prisons where they were tortured. This is one of the stories that suggest the origin of Valentine's Day. Other stories suggest he fell in love with a young girl , who may have been his jailor's daughter. Before his death, it is alleged that he wrote a note to this girl , which he signed 'From your valentine'. Regardless the truthfulness of the stories, Valentine's Day is a day that filled with love and romance.
You can really feel that love is all around. Looking at those couples walking hand in hand, smiling at each other really warm the cockles of my heart. Although i was alone walking on the street, my heart is contented. The smell of love in the air really soothe my empty heart.
Love bring happiness, warmth, enargy and fulfilment. Life is wonderful with love as a conerstone. Perhaps, it's time for me to spread my wings and find love again. Cupid, i will find you!
